SERVICESOURCE HIRES FORMER MACROMEDIA, JUNIPER NETWORKS EXECUTIVE TO DRIVE WORLDWIDE HUMAN RESOURCES FUNCTION

Ray Martinelli's Leadership Instrumental As the Company Continues to Grow On a Global Scale

ServiceSource is expected to achieve 100% year over year growth for the 6th consecutive year and Martinelli will lead worldwide planning and development of ServiceSource's human resources function. Over his 20 year career, Martinelli has focused on global human resources, performance management, corporate culture alignment, leadership development, talent acquisition, and organizational effectiveness. Martinelli will report directly to ServiceSource President and CEO, Mike Smerklo.

Martinelli has served more than 20 years in senior executive positions in the high tech industry. During that time, he has demonstrated strong business acumen and a successful track record aligning the human resources function with business initiatives. His background includes extensive experience in organizational development, employee relations, employee training and development, compensation and benefits, recruitment and retention strategies, and acquisition integration.

Previously, Martinelli was a Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Macromedia where he played a lead role in the Adobe/Macromedia integration. Prior to Macromedia, Martinelli was the Vice President of Human Resources for Juniper Networks during which time the organization grew from 300 to 3,000 employees in less than five years. Previous experience includes management roles at companies such as Computer Curriculum Corporation, Apple Computers, and Esprit de Corps. Martinelli holds a Masters in Organizational Development from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor's in Organizational Communications from Sacramento State University.
