ServiceSource Opens New San Francisco Corporate Headquarters and Reports Record Growth for First Half 2008

Commitment to Bay Area Extends to Employee-Drive Make-A-Wish Charity Event

28 July 2008, San Francisco, CA — ServiceSource, Inc., the global leader in Service Performance Management, today announced its renewed commitment to the Bay Area by relocating its headquarters building and Bay Area Service Center to the vibrant SOMA business district. ServiceSource's new state-of-the-art, eco-friendly 48,200 square foot facility is a Center of Excellence for the company, housing its professional sales training center — Support University, Executive Briefing Center, as well as its corporate sales, marketing, and administration teams. The San Francisco Service Center also serves several of the company's marquee clients such as Sun Microsystems, BEA, and Hitachi Data Systems.

“San Francisco is the perfect location to serve as our headquarters where we have access to tech-savvy, highly educated sales professionals,” said ServiceSource CEO Mike Smerklo. “Given the current economic conditions, ServiceSource represents a bright spot in the business and technology community with its growth story. We have become the single largest service performance management provider in our industry by helping the top names in technology grow their service share”. ServiceSource is privately held and has experienced consistent compounded annual growth rate of over 70% with over 700 employees worldwide in additional Service Centers in Denver, Nashville, and Dublin, Ireland.

As a part of ServiceSource's commitment to the Bay Area, its employees at the San Francisco headquarters will be hosting its third annual charity drive benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the world's largest wish-granting charity helping children with life-threatening medical conditions. “Our annual charity event is my favorite time of the year” said Mike Smerklo. “Our employees completely lead the effort, putting in that same focus and spirit they use to serve our clients, and directing it toward a group of individuals in need.”

This year the event will be held at the Broadway Studios and will feature a concert by “Pop Rocks”. This event follows on the company's outstanding success which raised over $51,000 for Multiple Sclerosis of America last year. Donations to the event can be made by contacting ServiceSource directly.

“We are fortunate to have the support of such a dedicated group of people,” said Patricia Wilson, Executive Director of the Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation. “ServiceSource is a huge supporter of Make-A-Wish, and we are excited to work with them and welcome Mike Smerklo as a member of our Board of Directors.”
